Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS)

As a qualified Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) contractor, we will visit with you and conduct a careful analysis of your home as well as a personal assessment of your needs.

The CAPS program is administered by the Remodelers Council of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB), in collaboration with the NAHB Research Center, NAHB Seniors Housing Council, and the AARP. This credential is given to the building industry’s top professionals who specialize in home modifications for Aging-in-Place.

CAPS contractors are trained in:

• The unique needs of seniors and persons with disabilities;
• Aging-in-Place home modifications;
• Common remodeling projects;
• Solutions to common barriers.
